The Virginia Glory 16u National Christiansen/Bronowicz provides top notch training focusing on player development. This team combines the top two 16u teams in the organization. Head Coach Colin Christiansen is a former Division 1 college coach at Seton Hall University, UMBC, Mount St. Mary’s University and was a graduate assistant coach at the University of Tennessee. Coaches Kelly Shipman-Bronowicz and Scott Bronowicz are both former Division 1 Athletes and are entering their 10th season coaching with the Glory. We proudly seek out the best competition and put our student athletes in front of as many college coaches as possible.
Our Coaches have helped more than 30 players commit to college.
Previous commits include: Lemoyne, Syracuse, Boston, Indiana State, Youngstown State, Albany, Maine, Binghamton, Virginia, St Francis, Cal Baptist, Eastern Kentucky, Va Wesleyan, Yale, Furman, George Washington, Rutgers, JMU, Penn State, Lehigh, UNCW, Campbell, Army West Point, Drexel, UAB, Mount St. Mary’s, Frostburg, Virginia Tech, Coastal Carolina, Hartford, Albany, Dayton, Buffalo, Morgan State, West Chester, Sweet Briar, Wilmington, Harvard, Butler, UNC Wilmington, Georgetown, NYU, Delaware State, and UMBC.
The Glory program is for dedicated student-athletes and families who have a great passion and respect for the game, who aspire to play at the collegiate level, and who are fiercely competitive. And, for players and families who truly embrace our Purpose Driven Softball movement, who believe in being part of something bigger and creating a powerful environment where players thrive by giving each other their absolute best. This is not a “me first” individual-based culture. We strive to provide the highest level team experience; emphasize elite level fundamentals; maintain high academic standards, provide online college networking services, and instill life skills and close-knit relationships that carry through life.
