We are thrilled to have Jess Mazur as an assistant coach for VA Glory Dudley. Jess is currently a student athlete at Georgia Southern where she made a great impact for the team as a freshman.
AS A FRESHMAN (2019)
Played in 19 games, making 17 starts for the Eagles as a freshman … Hit .195 with two doubles, one home run and four RBI … Also pitched in 12 games, making seven starts, going 2-1 with a 3.06 ERA and one save … Hit her first collegiate home run in the Eagles’ 9-1 Sun Belt win at ULM on April 5 … Made her first collegiate appearance in the circle on Feb. 8 and hurled 4 2/3 innings of one-run relief to pick up the victory in Georgia Southern’s 6-5 win over St. Francis (Pa.) … Hurled six innings of two-hit, one-run ball, striking out three in the Eagles’ 6-4 win over Furman on Feb. 26 … Earned her first collegiate save with three innings of shutout ball in a 9-4 win over ACC foe Boston College on March 2.
HIGH SCHOOL
Played for William Fremd HS … Hit .580 with 16 home runs and 48 RBI as a senior for the Vikings … Named the Northwest Female High School Athlete of the Year by the Daily Herald… Earned Ranks first all-time in home runs (34), RBI (155), extra-base hits (76) and total bases (318) at Fremd HS … Four-time All-Area honoree and earned honorable mention All-State honors in 2017 … Also played volleyball for the Vikings … Played club ball for the Wasco Diamonds.
