Chris Keyser - Head Coach
Chris Keyser is the head Coach of Glory-Keyser, based in Loudoun County, VA. She is in her first year as a coach with the Glory Organization. Chris has previously served as the Head Coach for the AGSL Comets organization since the program’s inception in 2014. Under her leadership, the Comets which were originally classified as a C team in 2014 were reclassified to B in 2015 and A in 2016 where they placed 2nd in the 14U USSSA Virginia State Tournament. Prior to coaching travel softball with the Comets, she spent 7 years as a Head Coach in the Ashburn Girls Softball League where she has been a Board member since 2010. She currently serves as the Director of the Madison Small Memorial Tournament and Scholarship. Chris is also in her second year as a Field Hockey coach and her third year as a Softball coach at Briar Woods High School in Ashburn, Virginia. Having played organized sports since she was 6 years old, Chris was a three sport athlete (Field Hockey, Basketball and Softball) at Niskayuna High School in Niskayuna, NY. She went on to play at the collegiate level at Hartwick College in Oneonta, NY. Chris is a firm believer that there are many wonderful attributes that can be gained through participation in an organized sports program, such as the development of self-confidence and learning the importance of team work. As a coach, Chris believes that a team is only as strong as all of its players combined. She feels that through the teaching of proper technique and positive reinforcement that players can be developed and guided to reach their maximum potential. Chris is the proud mother of Ainsley (age 15) and Calli (age 13) and lives in Ashburn, Virginia.
