Glory National Mertz-Griffith teams participate in the nation’s top college showcases and national tournaments.

From the 2017 grad class on, 100% of our team alumnae have been recruited to play in college. Our teams have produced six PGF High School All-Americans and 18 PGF All-American finalists. In 2021, three players participated in the Women’s College World Series. Three players have competed on the world stage for USA, Puerto Rico and Israel.

Heading into 2024, Coach Mertz is ranked #24 club coach in the country by Extra Inning Softball and is a 2024 USSSA Virginia Hall of Fame inductee. “None of this is conceivable or possible without an extraordinary supporting cast of coaches, players and families who buy into our culture and different ways of doing things.” — MM

The team overall GPA is 3.9 which has allowed many players to earn academic scholarships as part of their packages. Excellence in class, and class on the field.
