Welcome to Glory 12U Fastpitch. Based in Northern Virginia, Virginia Glory 12U Bronowicz is building skilled athletes and getting them ready to compete at a higher level. The team plays in USA and USSSA sanctioned tournaments both locally and regionally.
Virginia Glory 12U Bronowicz is led by Coach Kelly Shipman-Bronowicz and Coach Scott Bronowicz. Kelly and Scott have been with the Glory organization for the last 7 years, coaching at the 10U, 12U, 14U, and 16U levels. They both have led and assisted coaching Glory teams at the national level. Their national teams have played in PGF, Triple Crown Fastpitch, and USA sanctioned tournaments located in NC, SC, GA, TN, FL, CO, and CA.
As former Division 1 athletes, both Coach Kelly and Scott plan to focus on growing the knowledge of the game in their athletes and getting them ready to compete. Their vision is to provide an avenue for the area’s top players to get ready to play at the highest level of fastpitch softball, throughout their careers.
The Glory program is for dedicated student-athletes who have a great passion and respect for the game, who prepare to play at the collegiate level, and who are fiercely competitive. Most importantly, for players and families who truly embrace our team-first PURPOSE DRIVEN SOFTBALL movement — who believe in being part of something bigger than themselves and creating a powerful environment where players make each other better by giving each other their best. This is NOT a “me first” individual-based culture. The Glory program provides the highest-level TEAM experience; emphasizes elite level fundamentals; maintain high academic standards; partner with established recruitment and academic advisors; offer SportsRecruits.com college networking services; host college coach instructional camps; and instill lifelong skills and relationships that transcend athletics.

“If you are not fielding the ball you are covering a base. If you are not covering a base, you are backing someone up. If you are not backing someone up, you are on the bench cheering on the team.”
