Overview

Sophie has been playing softball since she was 5 years old. She has been playing for the VGSL Chipmunks for seven seasons. She was selected on the VGSL All-Star team for two seasons and played on the Raiders for one season. She began playing for 10U Glory Red Lola in the fall of 2018. Sophie is an only child and loves spending time with her family. Sophie has been playing the piano for four years, participating and successfully passing three National Guild of Piano auditions, memorizing 5-10 songs. This year, she will participate in her fourth. She is proud to have judged the John Horrworth Children’s Book Contest for the last two years for George Washington University. In 2017, she was a Munchkin in Madison High School’s musical production of The Wizard of Oz. When Sophie is not playing or practicing softball, she enjoys watching movies, creating art, writing, reading, baking, snuggling with her two kittens, and going on trips with family and friends.
